Job Opportunity
I saw my ex-boss & friend last week when we went out for drinks and she mentioned that there is a job opening at her place (which pays a decent amount more) and said that she'd love it if I applied. I have been at my current job for nearly 5 years now and I actually kind of like it, but the money's not all that great. I almost cried when I saw my paycheck today. I only had straight time on there- no overtime- and I realized that I cannot survive if I do not work over 40 hours a week. It was just pitiful. So anyway, I e-mailed her this afternoon asking her if she was serious about the position or if it was just the Coors Lights talking. She replied and said she was- then I proceeded to bombard her with a million questions about benefits and such. Now I just have to get together a resume!!! I don't have any idea where to start. I had once tried to just use a template in Word, but I don't know what to put down. I have a hard time talking myself up. My brother is 31 years old and has never held a job for over a few months- but he has an awesome resume. It makes him sound as though he could build a space shuttle or something. His friend Oricidia (spelling?) prepared it for him. I must get in touch with her.

ooh, that sounds promising! I hate doing resumes, I always sound like such an idiot. Good luck!
Thanks! Me too- that's why I'm having Orchidia do my resume...lol.
